KATHUA, Nov 23: Excise Department destroyed 500 kilograms of lahan and 15 bottles of illicit liquor.
As per official spokesman, under the supervision of the Deputy Excise Commissioner (Executive), Jammu Mohammed Shahid Saleem, the Excise Team Kathua led by Arun Kumar Inspector Excise under the command of Excise and Taxation Officer, Excise Range Kathua, Sandeep Gupta and Excise and Taxation Officer, Eradication and Enforcement Wing Jammu Suresh Sharma conducted raids in Keengdayal, Maichak, Barnoti and Jakhbhardamba areas of Kathua district.
In the process more than 500 kilograms of lahan and 15 bottles of illicit liquor were recovered and later destroyed.
