JAMMU, Oct 4: Director School Education (DSE) Samita Sethi and Chief Education Officer (CEO) JK Sudan held review meeting with ZEOs of Jammu District to discuss the issues related to functioning and academic achievements of the institutions in the district.
The issues related to the filling and uploading of SDMIS forms, compliance report regarding reliving/joining of transferres, status of bio-metrics attendance, Aadhaar enrolment of students, status of SRO-43 cases, demarcation of school land and relevant revenue record of the institutions and timely submission of all information as desired by the higher authorities were discussed.
DSE Samita Sethi directed all the ZEOs of the district to devise monitoring mechanism to check the performance of all the institutions under their respective zones. With a view to securing better coordination between the Cluster Principal and ZEO concerned, a monthly meeting should be organized at zonal level to discuss the action taken regarding the overall development of the institutions in the concerned cluster, Sethi added.
Concerned Principals and ZEO concerned will organize programmes to sensitize the students, teachers and other staff members about the various schemes and benefits of the programmes launched by the department from time to time, she stressed.
Sethi added that concerned ZEO will be responsible to provide feedback about the various programmes and consolidated information with feedback be submitted to the CEO.
