This has reference to the write up ‘Poor children worst hit’ DE Sept 30.
The author has meticulously brought home with point that Kashmir unrest is going to harm the interest of children belonging to poor section of society. The elite, and financially sound families have made arrangements for their children in Jammu and other parts of the country. The Kashmir issue is not going to be solved overnight, it will take one does not know how much time. Shall the students community wait for that time ? It is question over which parents of these children should think. The Education Minister has been repeatedly urging the people to let schools and colleges function smoothly.
The sooner people will heed to this request, the better it would be for people of Kashmir. The stand off between the Government and society has already crippled Kashmir. Further delay would hurt it beyond repair.
