Bhim assails Govt for withdrawing security

JAMMU, June 18: National Panthers Party (NPP) has accused BJP-PDP Government for withdrawing security of chief patron of JKNPP, Prof Bhim Singh, who was being provided Z-security cover for several years.
Addressing a press conference, Bhim Singh said that the State Government has been playing fiddle with his security with malafide intension to ensure NPP leader liquidation for several months.
He also accused BJP-PDP Government for murderous attack on Panthers Party leaders namely Neeraj Gupta, zonal president, Jammu City, JKNPP on 16th of this month, in which police assaulted and injured many NPP leaders including Rishi Badyal.
Prof Bhim Singh said that the Panthers Party shall move an urgent petition in the High Court seeking judicial probe into the sacrilege attack in Jammu city few days before and for murderous attack on the Panthers Party activists who were seeking peace and appealing for judicial enquiry into the episode.
Later, the NPP leader disclosed that a two-day meeting of National Integration Council (NIC) shall be held at Sudhmahadev in Chenani (Udhampur), where Lord Shiva killed Sudha Rakshash about five thousand years ago, seeking peace. He said that soon he is leaving for attending this historic meet.
Others who were present in the press conference include Anita Thakur, general secretary and Neeraj Gupta, zonal president, Jammu City.
