UDHAMPUR, Jan 9: The Rashtriya Rifles Battalion at Gool under the aegis of Counter Insurgency Uniform Force Headquarters, Reasi distributed furniture to Government Middle School, Kalwa in Malaas Panchayat of Gool.
The flagship programme of education for the remote regions along the Pir Panjal Mountains to the world through literacy is one of the many such efforts being undertaken by Army. The Army has to come to the forefront by reaching out to children in remote areas by promoting education.
Speaking on the occasion, Mohd Ghulam Hussain, Headmaster of Government Middle School, Kalwa thanked the Army for their support and said the noble endeavour by the Army will benefit 160 students.
