This refers to letter of Mr Rakesh Sharma published in your daily dated 22nd of Dec.
There is an urgent need for establishing Pay and Stay Homes for the senior citizens who can afford to pay. The Govt should come forward promptly in this respect. At least a piece of land can be leased out to a private agency who can build and run the home on mutual settled terms. We find many such homes in various states of our country.
The problems of senior citizens are many but a foot forward in this direction by the Govt can definitely ease the living of senior citizens to live in peace and dignity.
