KATHUA, Dec 8; The irate residents of Rajbagh and surrounding areas blocked Jammu-Pathankote National Highway for one hour this morning in protest against the power crisis being faced by them for a pretty long time.
The protesters raising slogans against the PDD and the administration squatted on Jammu- Pathankot National Highway and disrupted the movement of vehicular traffic up to one hour.
There was a huge jam on NH as no vehicle was allowed to move by the protestors who alleged that the administration and the PDD authorities were totally callous towards their demands.
However, later the protesters dispersed peacefully on the intervention of Police and Revenue authorities who assured them that the power supply will be restored in the area soon.
