JAMMU, Nov 2: Thieves decamped with mobile phones and some cash from a prominent readymade garments showroom at Apsara Road.
As per police sources, some unidentified thieves made room into the Yougal Sons Showroom late last night by breaking the shutter of top floor and decamped with 4 mobile phones, being used by customers during shopping in the showroom and some cash.
The burglars also made theft attempts in the adjoining showrooms of Yougal Sons namely Surya Sales Corp (LG Electronic Showroom) and Fashion Fab (garments showroom).
A case has been registered in this regard at Gandhi Nagar police station and manhunt launched to nab the thieves.
However, no arrest was made till last reports were compiled.
When contacted, SP South, Shahzad Ahmad Salaria, confirmed the theft in Yougal Sons Showroom. He added that no items were stolen from other two showrooms.
