JAMMU, July 26: In an effort to promote self employment and earn their livelihood by a tailoring job, Rashtriya Rifles Battalion under Romeo Force took up a self employment project under ‘Operation Sadbhavana’ for distribution of eight sewing machines to needy women of Darhal village.
The distribution ceremony was inaugurated by Mohd Shareef, SHO Darhal and attended by a number of civil dignitaries and eminent personalities of the region. The sewing machines were presented to eight needy women of the village Darhal for establishing a tailoring center to promote self employment and help them earn their livelihood.
The Sarpanch alongwith the villagers conveyed their gratitude to the Indian Army for this noble cause.
