JAMMU, Apr 5: Senior vice president State National Conference Surjeet Singh Slathia expressed concern over the damages caused to residential houses, standing crops, livestock and other property in various border villages of Vijaypur constituency due to recent incessant rains and sought immediate survey, assessment of losses and compensation accordingly.
“It is stressed upon the administration to rise to the occasion and provide interim relief to the sufferers till proper survey and assessment of damages is carried out”, Slathia said while addressing a rally of the party workers, Panchs Sarpanchs, women workers and delegates at Gurah Morh this afternoon.
