JAMMU, Jan 12: A joint team of National Highway Traffic Police and RTO staff conducted extensive road safety awareness drive at Ramban on Jammu-Srinagar highway.
The driver was conducted under the supervision of SSP Traffic National Highway Sanjay Kotwal and ARTO Ramban Jugal Kishore Sharma.
During the awareness camp, about 200 vehicle operators were briefed about road safety awareness including the measures they can take to curb road accidents. The drivers and conductors in particular were given road safety tips.
Several representatives of Transport Associations, Drivers Unions, Traffic officials and staff of Ramban Motor Vehicles Departments joined the Road Safety Week.
