JAMMU, Nov 18: In connection with Ekta Diwas Celebrations, the artists of Cultural Wing of Information Department organized a cultural programme in collaboration with JK Montessori School, Talab Tillo in its auditorium, here today.
Chairman of the school, Prof Mohammad Ayuub Khan was the chief guest while Director, Academics, Rajni Gupta was the guest of honour.
Managing Director of the school, Sanjeev Gupta, Cultural Officer, Information Department, Raman Joshi and vice principal of the school, Geeta Dixit were also present.
The programme started with lighting of tradition lamp by dignitaries.
While addressing the gathering, Prof Ayuub said Music is vital tool to ease stress of the audience in some moments. He said today’s music always provided healthy and entertaining environment to the audience.
The artists of Information Department who presented a scintillating cultural programme included Jeevan Sharma, Vijay Anand, Zulikha Farid, Sumit Bhardwaj, Surjit Singh Sumbaria, Kamal Kumar and Bunty Kumar.
The students of JK Montessori School presented Sarswati Vandana and Dogri dance which was highly applauded by the audience.
The programme concluded with vote of thanks by Geeta Dixit.
