JAMMU, Jun 7: In a major administrative shuffle, the Government of Jammu and Kashmir’s Department of Rural Development & Panchayati Raj has ordered the immediate transfer and adjustment of 34 In-charge Assistant Executive Engineers (AEEs).
According to Government order, these changes follow the integration of officers from the Public Works (R&B) Department into the Rural Engineering Wing (REW).
As part of the directive, three long-serving AEEs—Noor Mohammad Magray, Ghulam Hassan Wagay, and Sonia Nayyar—who spent over 12 years in the REW, have been repatriated to their parent Public Works Department.
Meanwhile, two newly promoted In-charge AEEs, Manmohan Krishan and Syed Adil Aga, have been officially posted to the Akhnoor and Tral REW sub-divisions respectively, with all affected engineers deemed relieved with immediate effect.
