LEH, June 1: The president of the Ladakh Reservation Safeguard Front (LRSF), Dr Mohd Towha today expressed concerns regarding the implementation of Domicile Laws in Colleges across Ladakh and the application of reservation rules in the University of Ladakh.
Addressing the media, Dr Towha emphasized that the recently notified domicile and reservation regulations should be implemented effectively in all educational institutions of Ladakh to safeguard the rights and opportunities of local students.
He urged the administration and university authorities to ensure that admission policies and reservation provisions are aligned with the new regulations introduced for the Union Territory.
Dr Towha also highlighted concerns regarding the application of state reservation rules in the University of Ladakh and called for clarity and transparency in the admission process.
“The interests of Ladakh’s students must remain protected in accordance with the domicile and reservation policies notified by the Government of India,” he added.
