JAMMU, May 27: MLA Bahu, Ch. Vikram Randhawa here today started the work of laying water supply pipes in Ward No. 43, Nanak Nagar.
The work will be completed with the Constituency Development Fund of the MLA and it will ensure better and uninterrupted water supply to the residents of the area.
On this occasion, the MLA also started the work of drain construction under JMC to improve sanitation facilities and ensure proper drainage in the area.
Officials from JMC were also present on the spot and held detailed discussions regarding the timely completion and quality execution of the works.
The programme was attended by Surjeet Choudhary, former JMC Councillor, prominent locals and residents of the area who appreciated the developmental initiatives being taken under the leadership of MLA Bahu.
Speaking on the occasion, Randhawa said that providing basic amenities like clean drinking water, proper drainage and better civic infrastructure remains his top priority.
He stated that every issue raised by the public is being monitored seriously and will be resolved in a time-bound manner.
