JAMMU, May 24: Bhartiya Yog Sansthan (BYS) organized an impactful five-day ‘Motapa Rog Nivaran’ Yoga Camp at Swami Vivekananda Park, Durga Nagar, Bantalab.
The camp was organized not merely as a Yoga programme but also as a sincere social mission to awaken people towards healthy living, self-discipline and physical as well as mental well-being through the timeless wisdom of Yoga.
The camp was organized by BYS Aap Shambhu in active coordination and wholehearted cooperation with various BYS Kendras including Durga Nagar, Roop Nagar, Sanskriti Bhavan, Shiv Palace, Navgrah, Baba Jittoo District, Devak Zone and several other Kendras.
For five consecutive days, the atmosphere at the camp remained vibrant, energetic and deeply motivating as a large number of men, women, senior citizens and youth enthusiastically participated in the Yoga sessions aimed at combating obesity and restoring health naturally.
Yoga Instructors explained the importance of Yoga in today’s fast-paced and stressful lifestyle.
A special highlight of the camp was practical dietary counselling, where participants received guidance on healthy eating habits, balanced nutrition and lifestyle discipline essential for controlling obesity and preventing associated diseases.
Dignitaries from the Jammu Head Office of BYS including Dr. Suresh Gupta, senior vice president BYS J&K province; Anil Sharma, provincial Sanghathan Mantri; Kewal Abrol, Pradhan, BYS Aap Shambu District; Kusum Bakshi, Sangathan Mantri; Vinod Mattoo, District Mantri and Phoola Bhat, senior Adhikari BYS were also present on the concluding day.
