DC Kathua issues directives to officers against 3 drug traffickers

KATHUA, May 1: District administration Kathua has intimated all the district officers to take necessary action under rules against the three notorious drug traffickers including Sahil Dogra, son of Rattan Chand of Ward No 8, Parliwand Kathua, Akshay Kumar, son of Kala Ram of Ward Number Changran Kathua and Arshad Ahmed, son of Suleman of Dodla, Basohli presently at Govindsar Kathua against whom FIR No 50/2026 has been registered under Section 8/21/22 of the NDPS Act at Police Station Kathua.
The Deputy Commissioner Kathua, Rajesh Sharma in its letter has intimated all the district officers that considering the seriousness of the offenses under the NDPS Act, which pose a grave threat to public health and order so the district officers are directed to take immediate necessary action as per rules against them.
The district officers have been further asked to examine records pertaining to them, initiate proceedings for suspension/cancellation of any licenses, registrations, benefits under any scheme or permissions issued to them, ensure that no fresh benefits under any Government scheme are extended to them till further orders.
