JAMMU, Nov 7: Janipur Police have achieved a major breakthrough with the recovery of a Mahindra Bolero (JK02CP-9020) from Srinagar, allegedly linked to a cheating case.
A special team led by PSI Fida Hussain traced the vehicle through sustained efforts and technical inputs. The operation was carried out under the supervision of SDPO City West Jammu Satish Bhardwaj and SHO Janipur Inspector Vikram Sharma.
Police said the vehicle is connected to a case registered at Police Station Janipur under FIR Number 119/2025 for offences under Sections 406, 420 and 506 IPC. Further investigation is in progress to identify and apprehend the accused.
