JAMMU, July 6: President of Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) Jammu has urged the Union Government to consider their demands in the upcoming Budget session.
In a statement, president of the association demanded IT exemption as sanctioned during the previous NDA Government to the industries, excise refund as sanctioned during the previous NDA Government to the industries, Jammu-Poonch-Kishtwar four lanning of highway to be given to NHAI, railways platforms and tracks to be increased from 3 to 10 at Jammu Railway Station.
He also demanded super fast train to Kolkata, two Shatabadi express between Jammu-Delhi in morning and evening, one super fast train to Chandigarh on daily basis, one train to Amritsar, one additional super fast train to Haridwar with AC coach, additional 2 tier AC and 3 tier AC coach in Hemkunt Express, funds to INTAC to preserve and maintain Forts, Temples Mosques and Gurudwaras.
President also demanded full fledged independent Entrepreneurship Development Institute (EDI) like one in Ahmedabad in Jammu, Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management (IITTM) in Jammu like in Gwalior Bhubneshwar and Noida, Indian Institute of Management (IIM) in Jammu and Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIMT) for Jammu division.
