JAMMU, June 4: A truck carrying karyana material caught fire under mysterious circumstances in Transport Nagar area of Narwal.
As per reports, a truck bearing registration number JK02B-8286 caught fire under mysterious circumstances in ward number 6, Transport Nagar, Narwal.
On getting information, police team from Narwal police post headed by SI Inayat Ali rushed to the spot and fire fighters were pressed into service to douse the flames.
After hectic efforts, the fire was brought under control, but till then the truck was completely gutted.
No casualty or injury has been reported in the incident, while exact loss could not be ascertained yet.
The truck was carrying some chemical material for factory works, which caught fire due to hot weather conditions but exact reason could be ascertained after investigation completes.
Police has registered a case in this regard and investigation started.
