Crude palm oil futures down 0.35 per cent on profit-booking

NEW DELHI, Apr 29:  Crude palm oil prices fell 0.35 per cent to Rs 564.50 per 10 kg in futures market today as speculators indulged in profit-booking at prevailing higher levels.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude palm oil for delivery in May traded lower by Rs 2, or 0.35 per cent, to Rs 564.50 per 10 kg in a business turnover of 66 lots.
Similarly, the oil for delivery in April shed 70 paise, or 0.12 per cent, to Rs 567.20 per 10 kg in 40 lots.
Market analysts said besides profit-booking by speculators at prevailing levels, subdued demand in the spot market, led to a fall in crude palm oil prices at futures trade. (PTI)
