JAMMU, Mar 8: J&K State Pensioners Association (SPA) has asked the State Government to immediately release of 3rd installment of sixth CPC arrears reportedly announced by State Finance Minister recently.
Krishan Singh, president, J&K State Pensioners Association (SPA) said that Central Government pensioners got CPC arrears in two consecutive instalments but State Government ordered to pay the same in five installment which shows that the State Government is utterly insensitive towards genuine needs and aspiration of its pensioners.
He also made a strong plea to the Government to release immediately 10 percent DA installment from January 2014 and enhance monthly medical allowance from Rs 300 to Rs 1000 in respect of State pensioners and employees.
