JAMMU, June 11: A drug peddler was nabbed with 5 grams of heroin by Police Post GMC Jammu today.
“A team of Police Post GMC led by Incharge of the Post PSI Vijay Thakur while on patrolling duty near New Emergency Gas Plant of GMC rounded up a suspected person and on search recovered 5 grams of heroin from his possession,” a Police spokesman said.
He said the accused identified as Mudasir Hussain son of Jaffer Hussain resident of Bhaderwah was arrested and a case FIR Number 85/2023 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act registered in this connection at Police Station Bakshi Nagar.
Further investigation of the case was going on, he added.
