Workshop begins at CUJ on ‘Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Start-Ups’

JAMMU, Sept 23: Central University of Jammu (CUJ) is organising two days workshop on Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Start-Ups under the patronage of the Vice-Chancellor, Prof Sanjeev Jain.
The workshop is being jointly organised by the Institute Innovation Council (IIC) of CUJ under its Innovation and Start-Up activity; and Jammu & Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI).
The workshop was inaugurated today with the welcome address of Prof Devanand, President IIC, CUJ, followed by the address of Dr Vinita Sharma and Dr Ranjeet Kumar Raman, Convener, IIC; and Innovation Activity Coordinator respectively.
Sahil Aggarwal, the key note speaker on the first day of workshop, is a businessman, serial entrepreneur, motivational speaker & social media influencer. He made the audience aware about the opportunities and scope which one can explore in competitive market. He said that good team work is pivotal to the success of any entrepreneur while sharing his own experiences. He also emphasised the need to be different by examining the existing gaps rather than jumping in the rat race.
The technical sessions of the workshop was conducted by resource persons namely Vishal Ray and Goutam Saini, faculty JKEDI. Both the resource person conducted workshop for the participating students and scholars of the university. The event was attended by faculty members of various departments, students and research scholars. The master of ceremony, Dr Bharti Gupta, Start-up Activity Coordinator, IIC, presented vote of thanks.
