JTC, SKF highlight demands

JAMMU, Sept 10: Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front (SKF) today held a meeting under the chairmanship of its president Shadi Lal Pandita and expressed concern over the hollow assurances of the Government for rehabilitation of the Kashmiri migrants in the Valley.
While speaking, Pandita said that the properties of the Kashmiri migrants have been encroached upon by the miscreants and the Government has remained a mute spectator.
He urged the Government to compensate Kashmiri migrants on account of the damages suffered to their properties and also urged for filling up of the remaining posts under Prime Minister’s Employment Package. He demanded enhancement of cash assistance relief and regular power supply in Jagti Township.
Among others present were Rajinder Dhar, Shuban Krishan, Rattan Lal Bhat, Sanjay Pandita, Rajinder Bhat, Vijay Pandita, SL Kar, etc.
