KISHTWAR, Sept 10: Under Operation Sadbhavana, Rashtriya Rifles provided Computers with table and chair to Government High Schools, Tagud and Horna and Government Middle School, Mugal Maidan in Kishtwar district.
Brigadier Sameer Bhad-auria, Commander 9 Sector Rashtriya Rifles, handed over computers with table and chair to the school authorities. Vidya Prakash, ZEO Chhatru; Farooq Ahmad, SHO Chhatru; Suresh Kumar Sen, Principal Higher Secondary school, Mugal Maidan; Principal Govt High School, Tagud; Principal Govt High School, Horna; Sarpanchs form nearby villages alongwith 100 students, 50 local and ten teachers were present during the event.
Army has also launched a special drive to promote modern education in the area and has been providing study material, school bags, books etc to under privileged students.
