JAMMU, Sept 3: The world famous western classical music conductor Zubin Mehta’s music concert being held at Srinagar will go a long way in the promotion of cultural tourism in J&K.
This was stated by Randhir Singh, State president, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) in a statement issued here.
He appealed the people to ensure most successful conduct of this event, which is taking place for the first time in J&K.
Singh said that Zubin Mehta is cultural ambassador, who promotes music for harmony and this event at Srinagar should not be politicized in any manner.
