SRINAGAR, Sept 2: The members of teaching and non-teaching fraternity of University of Kashmir (KU) today accorded a warm send-off to Chief Proctor and Head, Department of Biochemistry, Prof M Afzal Zargar who has been appointed as Registrar Central University of Kashmir. Prof Zargar has been relieved by the University of Kashmir on deputation for the new assignment.
While chairing a farewell meeting which was organized by the Proctor Office of the Varsity, Vice Chancellor KU, Prof Talat Ahmad hailed the services of Prof Zargar and said that Prof Zargar had contributed enormously to the corporate life of the University while working on various key positions which include as Chief Proctor, Head Department of Biochemistry and Head Department of Clinical Biochemistry.
The function was also attended by Dean Academic Affairs KU, Prof AM Shah, DCDC, Prof GM Shah, Registrar KU, Prof Zaffar A Reshi, Dean Biological Sciences, Prof Akbar Masood and Dean Students Welfare, Prof Neelofar Khan.a
