REASI, Apr 22: Police here today recovered a minor girl, kidnapped from Bandi Mahore in Reasi district of J&K, from Khanuwar area of Gurdaspur in Punjab.
Amit Gupta, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Reasi had framed special teams under the supervision of SDPO Mahore and the team led by a Sub Inspector rank officer was sent to Punjab for recovery of the minor.
With the help of local police, the team lost no time and raided different places and recovered the missing minor girl from Gurdaspur.
Police is on job to arrest the accused involved in the crime.
A handout of police department stated that father of the girl had lodged a written complaint on March 31, 2022 at Police Station Mahore in this regard after which a case in FIR no. 23/2022 U/S 363 IPC was registered at Police Station Mahore which followed initiation of legal action and search by multiple police parties.
SSP Reasi, Amit Gupta has appealed to the parents that girls should be made aware of such type of fraudsters.
