JAMMU, Apr 22: Pacca Gharat locality in Talab Tillo area here is facing acute water crisis.
The locals alleged that for the last about one week the water supply at Pacca Gharat Hari Nagar area in Talab Tillo is not being made properly and the inhabitants of the area are facing hardships in these hot summer days. They alleged that no officer of Jal Shakti Department is worried for the miseries faced by the public despite repeated complaints and even the officers concerned do not respond phone calls and this is only because of the negligence of the Department.
They said that last year also the residents had to face such water crisis and with the intervention from higher authorities the matter was resolved but now again, the things have worsened due to poor response of the staff concerned.
Residents of Pacca Gharat Hari Nagar area of Talab Tillo have urged upon the Principal Secretary, Jal Shakti Department to look into the matter.
