JAMMU, Oct 4: Cultural group Ek Sath Rang Mandal (ESRM) here today staged Vijay Malla’s solo Nukad play ‘Bapu Ney Kaha Tha’.
The play was based on teachings of Gandhi Ji’s and his non-violent approach for achieving independence of our country.
The narrator in the play highlighted that Gandhi Ji being a freedom fighter was also a staunch preacher of non-violence.
He claimed that non-violence is strongest weapon for establishing peace even in the present world and also mentioned about Dandhi March taken out by Gandhi Ji.
The narrator further stated that for so many years Gandhi Ji fought the British rulers but ultimately he decided to fight against them in his own country.
Actors who participated in the play were Aryan, Mayira, Raju Mad and Vijay Malla.
