NOWSHERA, Oct 4: A Sarpanch was injured and hospitalized after a clash at Seri village in Nowshera today.
Official sources said that at around 12.30 pm today scuffle took place at village Seri between Sarpanch Deeing village, Ramesh Choudhary and Sarpanch Gagrote Ashok Kumar and his son on the issue of road construction. Ashok had engaged workers in local road construction. The other Sarpanch Ramesh Choudhary raised objection. It led to a clash between the two. Sarpanch Ramesh Choudhary received injuries and fracture in his arm and was shifted to SDH Nowshera. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
