SAMBA, Sept 27: The Border Kissan Union, Ramgarh (Samba) has decided to support “Bharat Bandh” call by all Indian Kissan Union against passing of the three anti-farmer ordinances by Modi Govt.
These ordinances are -Farmers Produce Trade & Commerce Ordinance 2020; Essential Commodities Act 1955 Amendment and Farmers Agreement on Price Insurance and Farm Services Ordinance.
The Union alleged that ordinances are merely passed to benefit the big class of traders and businessmen without caring and protecting the interests of concerned farmers.
Further the Union invited the attention of Modi led Govt to shun the adamant path with farmer unions in the best interest of farming sector by withdrawing the above said ordinances including passing of Minimum Sale Price (MSP) in a speaking manner.
“We have a democratic country where in Government run for the people and by the people but the dictatorial attitude of both “Hum Do” ( We two- Modi ji & Shah ji) for Hamarey Do (Ours two- Adani & Ambani) is not adhering the Indian Constitution as democratic country,” they added.
Pertinent to mention here that even during Corona period and otherwise, these are the only Kissan & Mazdoors who stood 1st to grow up GDP in higher side and their youth generation in belt forces defending the country on borders from foreign enemies.
They requested the PM Modi to look into the light of contribution of Kissan & Mazdoors, in the democratic set up of constitution, and repealed the ordinances as solicited without wastage of time.
The participants include, Mohan Singh Bhatti president, Prempal Choudhary gen secretary, Manjit Singh, Gurmail Singh, Ravinder Kumar, Arjan Singh, Anil Choudhary, Balbir Singh, Swarn Singh and others.
