JAMMU, Oct 28: SKUAST-Teaching Association Jammu (SKUAST-TAJ) accorded an emotive and warm farewell to Dr BB Gupta Professor (Plant Breeding and Genetics) and Ex-Registrar SKUAST-Jammu on his superannuation after rendering distinguished services of 33 years.
VC SKUAST-Jammu Dr JP Sharma, President Teaching Association Dr Vikas Sharma while listing Dr BB Gupta’s achievements as an administrator and contributions in the discipline of Plant Breeding wished him a prosperous life after retirement.
The advisors and office bearers of teaching association Prof. RK Samnotra, Prof Susheel Sharma, Dr. PK Rai, Dr Rajeev Bharat and Dr Anil Bhatt also wished him luck.
The proceedings of the programme were conducted by Dr JS Manhas, Dr Arvinder Singh and Dr BK Sinha while formal vote of thanks was presented by Dr Vivak M Arya, General Secretary, TAJ.
