JAMMU, Oct 28: A man was found unconscious in Chand Nagar area, who later died during treatment in GMCH Jammu.
As per police sources, a man identified as Mohammad Rafiq, son of Makhan Hussain of Tringla, tehsil Banihal, district Ramban was lying unconscious near Chand Nagar.
On getting information, police team rushed to the spot and shifted the man to GMCH Jammu, where he died during treatment.
The body has been shifted to mortuary of GMCH Jammu for autopsy, which will be conducted tomorrow.
Inquest proceeding under Section 174 CrPC has been initiated by Nowabad Police in this regard.
