JAMMU/SRINAGAR/ LEH, Feb 25: Jammu and Kashmir today reported 95 COVID positive cases while the UT of Ladakh recorded 19 positives.
Jammu region registered 65 new cases and Kashmir division 30.
Twenty seven cases were reported from Jammu district, 20 Doda, five each in Samba, Kathua and Ramban, two Rajouri and one in Poonch district.
Udhampur, Kishtwar and Reasi districts didn’t report any cases.
Daily recoveries in the region today stood at 126 bringing number of active positive cases down to 586.
The UT of Ladakh today reported 19 fresh cases, all in Leh district.
Ladakh now has 248 active positive cases including 228 in Leh and 20 in Kargil.
Meanwhile, Kashmir reported 30 fresh cases of COVID-19.
Those who tested positive include 18 from Srinagar, 3 from Baramulla, 3 from Budgam, 3 from Kupwara, 1 from Anantnag, 1 from Bandipora and 1 from Kulgam.
With the fresh cases, the number of cases in Kashmir division has reached 286,994 including 284,162 recoveries and 2,423 deaths.
The number of active cases in Jammu and Kashmir are 995 including 409 from Kashmir division.
With 187 more recoveries, the tally of total recoveries in Jammu and Kashmir has reached 447,074 which is 98.73 percent of the total cases.
