UDHAMPUR, Mar 8: Nine persons were injured when a minibus, they were travelling in, rolled down into Devika rivulet near MH Chowk, this morning.
The Minibus, bearing registration number JK14-7437, was on its way from Udhampur to Muttal when the driver lost control over the vehicle, which rolled down into Devika, this morning around 9.25 a.m. Police and locals rushed to the spot and shifted the injured persons to District Hospital Udhampur while four of them were referred to Military Hospital Udhampur due to their critical condition.
The injured persons were identified as Sevitri Devi (26) wife of Seya Ram of Samol, Babli Devi (34) wife of Sandoor Chand Smole, Amit (6) son of Seya Ram of Smole, Sandoor Chand (40) son of Naseeb Chand of Smole and Sachin Kumar (17) son of Sandoor Chand of Smole.
Those referred to Military Hospital Udhampur, were identified as Raj Kumar (33), son of Rattan Chand of Ghar Tama, Manoj Kumar (35), son of Lal Ji, Abhishek Chauhan (22), son of Subhali, both of Uttar Pradesh, presently at near Head Post Office Udhampur and Munshi son of Mansa Ram of Panhal.
