9 detained for sloganeering

RAJOURI, Feb 25: The police took nine youth into preventive custody for creating nuisance and resorting to objectionable sloganeering in Gujjar Mandi area in the town here today.
An official spokesman said that during morning, a group of nine boys, including some college students, appeared at Gujjar Mandi chowk and resorted to sloganeering and started to creating chaos, thereby, spreading panic among the people. The procession was found taking place with out any permission from competent authority. The group was led by a Congress party activist.
They were not having any permission for holding any protest while their sudden sloganeering spread panic among people. Acting swiftly, a police team headed by SHO Rajouri, Ajaz Haider rushed to the spot and detained all the nine boys, who have been taken into preventive custody.
