RAJOURI, Apr 22: The police seized 9 bovine animals and arrested two smugglers last night.
Official sources said that a police naka party, during last mid night intercepted a Tata Mobile vehicle No. JK11B/4673 near Nowshera and found 9 bovine animals loaded in it. The police rescued all the animals and seized vehicle.
The driver and his associate were also arrested. They were identified as Sharafat Mumtaz, son of Mohd Mumtaz and Mohd Zubair, son of Mod Shabir, residents of Khabilian, Thanamandi.
A case was registered in this connection.
