RAMBAN, Nov 12: To check the punctuality in the offices, Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Ramban Ravinder Nath Sadhu paid surprise visit to various offices today.
During the inspection, some officials were found absent from their duties without proper leave and permission besides not maintaining their movement registers.
Taking serious note of this, ADDC ordered the suspension of nine employees including five officials of ACD office comprising Junior Assistant, Zinat Khan, VLW Rajit Anand Sharma, MPW, Parvaiz Ahmed and orderly, Sunil Sharma and five of BDO office Ramban which includes AAO Bishan Dass, Junior Assistant, Dharam Singh, Programme Officerp, Shahid Hussain, Chowkidar, Prem Singh and Computer Operator, Nawaz Ahmed who were found absent from their duties during the working hours.
Further explanation has also been sought from Block Development Officer Ramban for his unauthorised absence from the office. Meanwhile, ADDC has passed strict direction to the many other officers for not leaving their stations without permission and asked them to adhere to the office timing properly so that general public do not face any inconvenience.
