POONCH, Jan 13: The security agencies seized 800 Reyals from a PoK visitor while Rs 7000 India currency from another PoK returnee at the Chakkan-da-Bagh cross LoC point in district Poonch today.
An official spokesman said that during checking at the cross LoC point today, the Indian security men seized 800 Reyal from one Irshad Mohammed, resident of Mirpur (PoK). He came from his home in PoK today. He was detained for some time at the post. After questioning and proper scrutiny, he was later allowed to enter this side and move in the Poonch bound bus.
Another PoK resident Raja Mohd Nazir who was returning to his town in PoK after staying with his relatives here was detained at the LoC point for some after the security agency people recovered Rs 7000 Indian currency in his possession. The money was seized and after thorough scrutiny he was allowed to move on that side of the LoC.
