NOWSHERA, May 21: An 8-year-old girl was allegedly raped by two elder boys of her school when she was returning home at village Garan under Dharamsal police jurisdiction.
Police said the incident took place at around 2.30 pm on Tuesday when 4th class student, Razia (name changed), was returning home. Two students of class 9th of the same school, hailing from Garan village were chasing the girl. On the way, the boys dragged her to the nearby bushes and committed sexual assaults on her. One of the boys dragged her and the other took turns to outrage her modesty. The boys then escaped leaving her bleeding badly.
Some people noticed the girl and then informed her parents. The girl revealed the whole matter to the parents. The girl was then shifted to Nowshera Hospital for treatment. A case FIR No. 54/2014 under Section 341/376 RPC was registered against the accused persons-Abdul Aziz (14), son of Mohd Din and Mohd Nissar (15), son of Wali Mohd, residents of Garan Pain. The boys were absconding and the police was looking for them.
