VIJAYPUR, May 21: Former Minister and senior Congress leader Manjit Singh today threatened Power Development Department (PDD) of Samba district for unnecessary curtailment in his constituency.
In a statement, the Congress leader said that political considerations are kept in mind by the PDD officials due to which transformers wherever got damaged are not replaced timely.
“The people are put to suffering only because of their affiliation with other political party. The transformers are repaired only after MLA asks them to do so,” he alleged.
The former Minister said that the people have anger against the administration in Samba and they would start agitation in case the power scenario did not improve in coming days.
