UDHAMPUR, May 21: A minor girl and an elderly person died due to accidental fall in separate incidents, during the last 24 hours.
An 8- year old girl, namely Sonakshi Devi, daughter of Shamel Singh of Panchari, fell from the roof top. The family members rushed her to PHC Panchari where doctors referred her to District Hospital Udhampur. However, she succumbed to her injuries on way from Panchari to Udhampur.
In a separate incident, a 60 year old man namely Talbu Ram, son of Bindi Ram of Talpar in Udhampur, yesterday fell down from his house. The family members took him to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors referred him to GMC Jammu Hospital in view of his serious condition. However, he succumbed to the injuries this morning.
