8 injured in separate road accidents

UDHAMPUR, Mar 20: Eight persons were injured in two separate road accidents in Udhampur, since last evening.
Five persons were injured when a Tavera car bearing registration number MP04BA-6940 collided with a Traller HR55R-3084 near Dudhar Nallha, Udhampur. Police rushed to the spot and shifted the injured persons to District Hospital Udhampur.
The injured were identified as Pravath (22) son of Kemlesh ji Rethori, Dishamt (23) son of Bhagonal Jomi, Dharminder Mahesh (24) son of Jeet Mal Mehesh, Rinku Tomrika (22) son of Shoku Tomrika of Madhya Pradesh, and Suntash Kumar (44) son of Hans Raj of Sunel Jeb Udhampur.
In another road accident, a motorcyclist and his two pillion riders were injured when a car hit their bike, bearing registration number JK14-2159 on the National Highway near Mand late last night.
Some locals shifted the injured to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors referred them to GMC Hospital Jammu in view of their serious condition.
The injured were identified as Shrif (20) son of Noor Mohd. of Sandrani Tikri, Akheel (17) son of Mohd. Ansari of Chanas Tikri, and Bittu (17) son of Tirath Singh of Chanas Tikri Udhampur.
