EEWA discusses demands

JAMMU, Mar 20: Estates Employees Welfare Association (EEWA) discussed their burning problems and demands in its meeting held here today under the chairmanship of its general secretary, Sushil Kumar.
The meeting attended by executive members of the Association appealed the Director, Estates, to form the Departmental Promotion Committee for pending promotions of the deserving employees.
The Association also stressed the need of publishing the seniority list of the employees in the daily local news papers for the information of employees and appealed the Director Estates to resolve the issue of time bound promotion from due dates so that the employees may not suffer more.
Alleging that some self styled and vested interests employees of the Estates Coordination Committee want to pressurize the administration by holding dharnas and strikes, the Association appealed firmly to the employees not to fall prey of the vested interests and participate in the dharnas and strikes called by opportunist leaders of the Coordination Committee, who themselves are involved in frauds and bungling.
The leaders of the Association, who participated in the meeting, include Hans Raj Sharma, Kewal Krishan, Satnam Singh, Rashpaul Kumar, Tarsem Lal and many others.
