8 injured in road mishaps

RAJOURI, Dec 2: Eight persons were injured in separate road accidents at different places in district Rajouri today.
A police spokesman said that one Roshan Lal, son of Jagdish Chander was seriously injured when his bike was hit by a Tata Magic vehicle at Dhok Katwal in Sunderbani area this evening. The injured was rushed to Sunderbani hospital where doctors after providing preliminary treatment referred him to GMC Jammu.
Two persons including the driver were injured when a tractor fell into a gorge at Niyali village in Rajouri. Both the victims were hospitalized. An Alto car met with an accident at Sorhapani village in Rajouri causuing injuries to the three persons.
A Tata Sumo hit a bike at Gambhir in Manjakote today causing injuries to the two riders. They were shiftyed to Manjakote hospital by the locals. After providing first aid they were discharged from hospital. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
