UDHAMPUR, June 18: Eight persons including four children were injured in a road accident on Bypass Road near Garnai in Udhampur while a woman received serious injuries after she fell down from train here today.
Official sources said that an Alto car No. JK02CT/5478 collided with divider at Garnai on Bypass Road near Udhampur. It was on way to Jammu from Udhampur. The injured included four children. They all were rushed to District Hospital, Udhampur.
They were identified as Sunil Kumar (25), son of Ram Lal of Satwari jammu; Pari (2yrs), daughter of Balwan of Kalu Chak Jammu; Daksh (3), son of Balwan, Renu Kumari (35), wife of Balwinder of R S Pura; Balbir Kumar (45), son of Chaman Lal of Simbal Camp; Soma Devi (34), wife of Barbit, Diya (10) and Mane Dogra (11), daughters of Balbir. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
Meanwhile, 52-year-old Shakuntla Devi, wife of Girdhari Lal of Ramnagar was injured after she fell down from Hemkund Express train near Ramnagar Morh this morning. She has been referred to GMC Hospital Jammu from Udhampur hospital.
