LEH, Oct 24: Seventy two persons today tested positive for COVID-19 including 62 in Kashmir division and 10 in Jammu while the UT of Ladakh recorded three fresh cases.
Among 10 cases in the Jammu region, three were reported in Poonch, two each in Jammu, Doda and Kathua and one in Ramban district.
Eleven persons recovered from the virus leaving behind 144 active positive cases in the region.
All three fresh COVID positive cases in Ladakh were reported from Leh district.
Ladakh now has 38 active positive cases—37 in Leh and one in Kargil.
Meanwhile, Kashmir today reported 62 fresh COVID-19 cases.
Srinagar reported 32 cases, Baramulla 11, Budgam 4, Kupwara 5, Anantnag 4, Bandipora 4 and Ganderbal 2.
Moreover, 68 COVID-19 patients recovered today including 57 from Kashmir.
So far 326343 patients have recovered, leaving active case tally at 866 including 722 in Kashmir.
