7 including CRPF man dies

* 473 test +ve in Kashmir

Srinagar, Sept 21: A 37-year-old paramilitary CRPF trooper was among seven persons who died of COVID-19 in Kashmir today taking the Jammu and Kashmir death toll 1026 while Valley reported 473 Coronavirus cases including 88 army and CRPF personnel taking the J&K tally to 65026.
A 75-year-old woman from Chanapora area of Srinagar died at SKIMS Soura today, a week after she was admitted there.
Four other persons also died at SKIMS Soura include a 65-year-old woman from Nehru Park Srinagar, a 55-year-old woman from Larkipora Anantnag, a 35-year-old from Rainawari Srinagar and a 37-year-old CRPF trooper from 35 battalion Humhama.
Two other deaths from Valley occurred at SMHS Hospital and include a 65-year-old from Salam Abad Uri, who was admitted with bilateral Community Acquired Pneumonia three days ago, and a 45-year-old from Gund Hassi Bhat Srinagar who was admitted as a case of bilateral CAP and died five days after being admitted there.
With these deaths, 1026 people have succumbed to the virus in Jammu and Kashmir and among them 780 from Kashmir.
Kashmir valley reported 473 Coronavirus cases including 88 Army and CRPF personnel taking the J&K tally to 65026.
Srinagar reported 141 cases, Budgam 60, Baramulla 79, Pulwama 54, Anantnag 36, Bandipora 22, Kupwara 14, Ganderbal 56, Kulgam 5 and Shopian 6.
Srinagar has 13199 positive cases with 2049 active, 10882 recovered, 268 deaths; Baramulla has 3923 positive cases with 1158 active, 2649 recovered, 116 deaths; Pulwama reported 3588 positive cases with 544 active cases, 2981 recovered, 63 deaths; Kulgam has 2188 positive cases with 155 active, 1990 recoveries, 43 deaths; Shopian has 1936 positive cases with 175 active, 1731 recovered, 30 deaths; Anantnag district has 3288 positive cases with 858 active, 2371 recovered, 59 deaths; Budgam has 4424 positive cases with 1726 active and 2620 recovered, 78 deaths; Kupwara has 3221 positive cases with 882 active, 2278 recovered, 61 deaths; Bandipora has 3177 positive cases with 1033 active, 2110 recovered, 34 deaths and Ganderbal has 2616 positive cases with 664 active cases, 1926 recoveries and 26 deaths.
Out of 65026 positive cases, 21887 are active positive, 42115 have recovered and 1024 died; 778 of them in Kashmir division.
So far 1415364 test have been conducted and 1350338 samples tested as negative and 65026 positive.
Moreover, 438 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and were discharged from various hospitals in Kashmir.
